ABOUT THE COACH
For over 30 years, I have coached competitive Travel (9U, 10U, 12U, 14U) and High School fastpitch softball teams, with a long-standing focus on Player development and equipment selection. Throughout that time, choosing the right bat (not the most marketed one) has been a consistent factor in Player confidence and performance.
This site is designed for Players, Parents and Coaches who want straightforward explanations, honest comparisons, and equipment guidance that prioritizes on-field results over hype.
Coachknowsfastpitch.com was created to provide clear, independent evaluations of fastpitch softball bats and related equipment, based on real-world use, coaching experience, and practical performance criteria - not sponsorships or paid endorsements.
Specifically, I created a Three Step, 6 Criteria Methodology for reviewing Fastpitch Softball Bats. Each bat review on this site follows the same evaluation framework to ensure consistency, fairness, and real-world relevance.
